This was a take-off in a restoration project for an Inland M1 and is in VG condition. Has the buttplate but will require a USGI upper band, band spring, recoil plate, and recoil plate screw to install. I'm only selling this for anyone who has a M1 Carbine barreled action or a completely broken stock and want their rifle back up to shooting condition without breaking the bank. I'm pricing this way under what a good-condition USGI stock set costs. Ebay prices are $100+ for a stock set, and Stockys reproductions are even more than that. Otherwise you can buy a cracked stock from JG Sales for $60-80 and put your sweat equity into repairing, sanding, de-rusting, and refinishing them assuming they're not too far gone. By purchasing this stock, you are swearing a Blood Oath on the lives and souls of yourself, your spouse, your first-born, and your dog that you will not use this stock to sporterize or tacticool a working M1 with good wooden furniture. The exception being if you have a commercial M1 carbine such as an Auto-Ordnance/Kahr or a Universal with non-USGI wood. I ship for an additional $20 due to the dimensions of this item.
