It works in a pinch but a $500 imager probably blows it out of the water. But if you want to actually get used to the menus and tweak setting such, it makes it way easier to use sitting on your couch and not in the dark with your helmet on where your wife can laugh at you. To summarize, near useless as a standalone imager due to the eye box, good to mess with settings not in dark.
