John Chapman, the airforce CCT who the book ‘Alone at Dawn’ is about is not being given his own exhibit at the Medal of Honor museum, despite being the only member of the airforce to get a Medal of Honor in the entire 20 years of the global war on terror, and in fact the first airman to receive the award since Vietnam, and being the first Medal of Honor ever captured on footage. Not only that but the navy seal Bret Slabinski, who left Chapman behind on Takur Ghar to die, then took credit for Chapman actions to falsely be awarded a Medal of Honor, is being given his own exhibit. Coincidentally Bret is on the museums board of directors. Here’s a link to the change.org petition to set this right. https://chng.it/wvD2CTQjcT
