So I ended up with the new Eotech 3-9x compact MPVO. As far as I can see these haven't even hit the shelves at most retailers (Optics Planet says they have them...but take that with a grain of salt). It's got a 3-9x magnification range, Japanese glass, SFP HC1 illuminated reticle, and an integrated mini ACOG mount. Comes in at 6.8" with a total weight of 16oz! That makes this thing less than an inch longer and an ounce lighter than a TA02 ACOG, but you get a massively more versatile magnification range, better fov (at 3x), adjustable diopter, and magnetic quick adjust zero stops. At the time of purchase from Eotech directly, the ring mount for the Eflex was not available, and I'd planned on a different red dot to go along with it anyways, so this is just the scope. If you were waiting for these to come into stock, now's your chance to snag one and even get a break on the price! To reiterate, this thing is brand new, like, I took it out for pictures, never even installed the battery, and never mounted. I have to sell because I owe Enterprise rent a car some money for some damage to one of their cars that was my fault. Sorry no trades, I can't pay Enterprise with a trade.
