m1ar15*Edit: Would consider trade for vintage night vision. Selling an Aimpoint 5000xd model. This is slightly newer than the original 5000's and has a brighter dot and better battery life. Originally asking $925..now price reduced to price on post.Has some wear and marks from over the years. Still in good shape for its age. Has the extension and trim ring. The rubber boot for thr trim ring is missing. Theres a small flat spot on the edge of the trim ring. Most guys remove the extension and run the shorter profile anyway. Glass is clean and clear. Happy to answer any questions or provide more pictures. Thank you! **Edit again***Upon looking at it this morning, I tried multiple batteries because I remove them for long storage. When using a fat cr1/3n battery, it doesn't seem to make good contact. However, using two thinner Lr44 batteries stacked, it makes better contact and the dot seems bright. I suspect it could be the brightness switch. They seem to be the most common repair on these older dots. Using the two batteries, you may never have to fix anything. But if you do, aimpoint can repair it. I've heard some say they cover under warranty...but I make no promises. If they don't, I believe they charge a flat $100 for repairs. I just wanted to be totally upfront with everything.
