You buy other scope mounts because you want to be somebody, you buy a Contessa because you are somebody. This thing has been mounted to a rifle once. The only wear marks, and they are very minimal are on the bottom of the optic where the clamp of the scope mount claws to the rifle rail. There also two needle size wear marks on the bottom back of the rail, where the mount sits on top of the rifle rail. These superficial wear marks on the back and bottom cannot be seen when the scope is mounted. I am really nit picking on this, its basically perfect, I just want you to have all the details. These are beautiful mounts, some of the finest made, QD, Bubble level, etc. They retail for $680 new. Its an incredible mount, and I really don't want to part with it, I am really debating putting it on my SPR, as the mount is Solid AF, and it has the built in bubble level, but alas...I must sell it.
