Famous for being the only true monolithic rail platform and being milled from a single solid piece of aerospace aluminum forging, it utilizes two locking bolts to secure the barrel extension. This technology engages the barrel for a full 360 degrees around the extension for great heat dissipation and accuracy. It also makes the barrel removable within seconds with a return to zero of the same barrel. One receiver can utilize numerous barrels of varying length and calibers. At the heart of this rifle is LMT’s MRP barrel. They are cryogenically treated and chrome-lined for long-term durability and accuracy. These barrels utilize a low-profile gas block and a straight gas tube for longevity. The MARS-L lower receiver features truly ambidextrous controls for left-handed operation. While it comes with an ambidextrous safety and magazine release, it most notably includes an ambidextrous bolt release and bolt catch.
