cpassmoreUp for sale is my CMP, Rack Grade, 1911A1 with Colt frame, slide, and barrel. As you can see on my tag, this 1911 came with a Remington Rand slide originally. I traded that slide to a member on the CMP forums for his rack grade Colt slide. There are no numbers under the firing pin stop plate so I believe the slide dates from 1943-1945. The frame is from 1943 I believe. I’ve only fired a few magazines through this to confirm function and it works fine. Comes with the pistol, 1 surplus7 round magazine, plastic box, CMP cert, and paperwork. It has spent the rest of its time in a thin coat of CLP in my safe.
