You put down a deposit, and pay the balance in full by an agreed upon date. Item ships once payment is complete. Deposit is based on how many weeks you’d need to pay the balance in full. Your FFl must accept mailed in private transfers. Most do, but some are fudds. If they don’t, find a new FFL locally or add $50 for my FFL to handle the transfer.
