The 16.5” HK barrel was professionally shortened to 11”, recrowned , and rethreaded (std 1/2-28). The gas port was opened minimally to ensure flawless function with the shorter barrel. It will come with a std milspec charging handle and does not come with a BCG. I can probably get you a factory HK BCG for a pretty good deal or a lot of guys are also buying the Brownell’s BRN4 BCG’s because they’re more compatible with some FRT’s, if that’s your jam. AND REMEMBER: you DO NOT have to have an HK lower for this upper!! They are fully compatible with all standard milspec style AR lowers!
